Natalie Young

Natalie has been acting since early elementary school plays and countless reenactments of The Little Mermaid in its entirety in her pool. During her high school years at Plano Senior High School, she attempted several times to stop enjoying herself so much on stage. She enrolled in other classes of an exploratory nature, like Music Theory, and the deceivingly difficult Spanish 3. She was unsuccessful (probably due to Spanish 3), so it only seemed natural to pursue acting professionally.

Natalie went on to attend Midwestern State University, where she graduated cum laude with a BFA in Theatre. Since moving to Dallas, Natalie has worked with a number of local companies, including Second Thought Theatre, Shakespeare Dallas, Theatre Three, Dallas Actors Lab, The Ochre House, and Watertower Theater. In 2001, she was awarded Top Female Performance by D Magazine for her performance in Red Light Winter at Second Thought Theater. She was also featured in Dallas Observer’s 2012 People Issue as The Showstopper. Natalie has starred in a long list of commercials, biopics, and short films you’ve likely never seen and looks forward to working on things you will see.

She is also a member of The Polyphonic Spree. When not touring with the band, she resides in a majestic estate on Ross Ave with her cat, Clementine, a major source of inspiration.
