Chloe Nix

Chloe Nix is a Texas native currently attending college. She has been dancing since the age of 4 with training in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Swing Dancing, and Body Percussion. She danced with the Drawbacks Youth Tap Ensemble for 7 years, and is now an assistant to Keira Leverton with Choreo Records Tap Company.

She competed in dance competitions for 6 years, winning various awards for her skills in tap dancing. In 2013 she attended D.C. Tap Fest and competed and won their inaugural solo competition. In 2012 she performed at CHRP’s Juba! Masters of Tap & Percussive Dance in Chicago. She has studied under many instructors such as Keira Leverton, Katelyn Harris, Derick Grant, Michelle Dorrance, Anthony Morigerato, Jay Fagan, Jason Janas, and Matt Shields.  She is a current member of the Rhythmic Souls company and has performed in such shows as Play It By Ear, Tappy Thanksgiving, and Legends Never Die where she appears as Bill Bojangles Robinsons performing his legendary Stare Dance. She frequently travels the country to further her knowledge as a dancer and instructor, in hopes of dancing throughout her life.
